Assemblyman Sam Hoyt

Sam,

Please read the attached Letter to the Editor. I appreciate your gesture, but no thanks. It’s time for a Moratorium on the purchase of green space on the island. Why can’t we use the grant money to get the island residents access to the water. I am determined to put a stop to the excessive land purchases the Environmentalists want and demand. I am making it my goal to try and get things the island residents really need. Like toll free bridges, Public access to the water, updated recreation equipment for our children, I could think of a million things we need here on this island and it is not, green space and paths for bird watching and looking for blue spotted salamanders. We must not forget that Grand Island is 80% undeveloped, and won’t be due to the fact there is no sewers. Speaking of sewers, we still don’t have sewers down Grand Island Blvd.

Please consider this.

Thank You
